Katahdin Colors from Togue Pond - Camp Natarsawi

This was painted from in front of a tent platform at the Maine Girl Scout's Camp Natarswi, located just outside the gate to Baxter Park.  My friend Becky Whight and I had walked the shoreline of the camp the preceding day, looking for sites to paint.  I was drawn by the symmetry of this location,  the presence of Mt Katahdin and the fall colors.
