Lubec Channel

Lubec, almost as far east as one can go in Maine, is separated from Campobello by the Lubec Channel.  Tides and currents are extreme in the channel.  This painting was completed from the Campobello side of the channel.  I loved the red roofs on the buildings in Lubec as well as the fishing weir on the Canadian side.  Both spoke to me of the working waterfront and communities tied to it..
