After a wonderful three weeks preparing for and enjoying family visits, I have returned to painting. The summer feels like it is leaving us fast. In response to the feeling of Fall's approach, I went to Schoodic Point last week to paint. As I parked the car, I was drawn to follow a path towards the water. Apparently others didn't notice the path that day. The treat for me was a day of quiet, standing among the juniper and wild cranberries, painting the rocks and water and beautiful air. We are blessed to live in a state as bountiful as Maine. Standing there and painting, breathing the air and loving the sun and wind, I knew where I belong!
